Pricing

Menu prices, menu items, and any other services or products offered by Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC are subject to change at any time, without notice, based on resources, availability and other factors.

There may be a time lag between any changes to prices, minimum guest requirements, and menu items or any other products/services, and when those changes appear on the website or on any other materials.

Specific menu prices, menu items and service/products offerings will be confirmed by a Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC representative when you discuss your event.

To guarantee our catering services being provided at your event, a non-refundable deposit equaling 25% of the anticipated total cost is required at time of booking (unless other arrangements have been made in advance & in writing).

The remaining balance is to be paid seven (7) days prior to the date of event, (unless other arrangements have been made in advance & in writing).

Form of Payments accepted: Cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover. Transaction fees for electronic payments are covered by applicable Administrative Fee.

Client can request any alterations/revisions to established contract up and until ten (10) days prior to event.

Final head count for events is due and must be conveyed ten (10) days prior to function. This number is considered your minimum guarantee attendance and cannot be lowered after that date. We will accept any increase in guaranteed number of guests up until 5 days prior to event.

Price Guarantees & Fees

Once the contract is signed & the 25% deposit has been received, the contract pricing is locked in for the remainder of the calendar year.

If your event is booked and occurring in the next calendar year, your catering menu pricing may be subject to an increase up to 10%, due to unforeseen increased costs in Commodity Market priced items such as Beef, Poultry, Seafood, and Fuel. The client will be notified 90 days prior to their event date of any menu increases via email. At that time, the client has the right to terminate contract and be issued a refund of any payments previously paid on account in the same manner as it was received, with the exception of the 25% non-refundable deposit.

All prices are subject to 4.3% Virginia state sales tax (unless you provide proof that you represent a tax-exempt organization)

All events are subject to a 18% Administrative fee which covers everything from the labor to produce the food for your event to the wear & tear on catering equipment, delivery costs, electronic payment transaction fees, to the time we spend with you designing/revising your menu.

All “drop-off catering” and “full-service catering” events are subject to an additional delivery fee if outside of a 15-mile radius from Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC. This delivery fee would be $0.80 per additional mile, going in both directions.

Prices listed on the website are subject to change at any time without notice. Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC will not be held liable for any website price changes or for price changes that have taken place but have not yet been reflected on the website. Website prices must be verified by Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC with the customer. The customer has the right to choose whether to agree to stated prices and sign a contract for catering services, or whether to decline to do business with Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC based on the prices quoted.

Cancellations

The client understands that upon entering into the contract, the caterer is committing time and resources to the booked event and thus cancellation would result in loss of income and loss of business opportunities in an amount hard to precisely calculate. Therefore, the following cancellation policies will apply:

In the event of the cancellation of your scheduled event within thirty (30) days of your booking date, your deposit will be returned, minus a 25% handling charge.

After thirty (30) days from booking date- Your entire deposit is non-refundable.

If the booking date occurs within thirty (30) days of your event, your deposit is non-refundable.

In the event of the cancellation occurring within seven (7) days of your booked event, you may very well be liable for the entire event balance. The caterer has the sole discretion to agree or not agree to a rescheduled date or credit on the client’s account.

Catering Service

Caterer is not responsible for damage or loss of any personal property at your event premises. The client is responsible for the damages, theft, breakage and/or loss at or to the premises.

Caterer will need to have access to the booked event venue no later than two (2) hours in advance of the Start Time to setup for the event, and one (1) hour after the End Time for clean up. Client shall make all necessary arrangements, at the client’s expense, to get this access arranged.

Both parties have agreed to the menu that was invoiced to the client. Caterer reserves the right to make small changes to the menu if vital ingredients are unable to be sourced due to reasons beyond control of both parties. Any changes that would change an agreed upon dish beyond a reasonably recognizable flavor or presentation, will be discussed with the client to obtain approval before sourcing, preparing, or serving.

At the discretion of Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC, leftover cooked food may remain with the client whereas on-site refrigeration is accessible to our staff. After which, the client assumes all liability resulting in failure to properly maintain safe food temperature and storage of food.

No alcoholic beverages will be served without a separate agreement. No alcohol will be provided by the caterer. Any and all alcohol that is contracted to be served by the caterer will be provided in full by the client. Monitoring the safety and well-being of the client’s guests is a joint responsibility for both parties. The client will absolve the caterer of any issues that might arise regarding the safety, behavior, actions, or situations stemming from alcohol consumption of the client’s guests.

Liability

Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC has, or will obtain, general liability insurance relating to caterers services at the booked event. However, the client will hold harmless the caterer for any damage, theft, or loss of the caterer’s property occurring at the book event, caused by any of the client’s guests.

The client agrees to irrevocably and unconditionally release Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC from liability, claims, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, death, or injury sustained by any participant in connection with any food, services, personnel, beverages, rental items not directly provided by Kesiah’s Kitchen LLC
